Jessica Hische

Listening to Design Matters almost every week, inspires my practice a lot and gets me knowing amazing designer, such as Jessica Hische. Jessica is an American letterer and illustrator, she is just 27 years old and has a lot of experiences on her back, like working for Louise Fili or designing the film titles for Wes Anderson.
In 2009 she launched Daily Drop Cap, and since then she has been uploading an illustrative initial cap a day with the aim to prettify the internet and beautify blog posts. She enjoys sharing information and resources with other designers; it is the case of the precious advice you can find on her website or even a chart that reflects on the dilemma “Should I work for free?”
