Forno Stria
Stria is a bakery where the bread rises with sourdough and it is made of wholewheat flours coming from ancient grains. Its identity is given by handmade lettering and a sign that draws the different features of the project: types of bread, shelves of wheat, jars of sourdough and the organic landscape. The colours are taken from the different types of dough and the drawings – in the prints and in the window vinyls – warm up the minimal interior design of the shop.




To revive an ancient craft, this was our aim: to open an artisan shop where people could see with their own eyes how we make bread.
Stria is one of those dynamic artisan businesses, which is not afraid to keep up with the times while maintaining its values. In 2014 they opened the laboratory with resale, immediately hiring a team of young and passionate bakers. With determination, they expand the resale of their products by activating collaborations with companies from all over the Emilia-Romagna region. In 2018 they equip themselves with an ape car (super-personalized!) to take part in markets and events. In 2021 they open a second store where alongside the bread they offer a vegetable-based cuisine. Having the opportunity to follow the communication of such an exciting company from day one is a great fortune for a graphic designer.
